Hyderabad: Former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal today admitted that his survey went wrong with regard to Andhra Pradesh elections.
In a letter released, Rajagopal said that his surveys went wrong. “I feel annoyed and grief as I failed to assess the pulse of the people. I will not conduct surveys in future and apologized to those who felt unhappy at the results he declared. Since 2004 I have been conducting impartial surveys. I admit the lapse and will not hold surveys in future”, he declared. He also extended greetings to YSRCP president and new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy for landslide victory. Rajagopal hoped that Jagan Mohan Reddy will give better ruling in the State. He also suggested to outgoing chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to play a constructive Opposition leader role in the House.
His survey said that TD will get 100 seats 10 less or more and 15 MP seats with two less or more. Also it said that the YCP will get around 72 seats with 7 plus or minus and 10 MP seats with 2 less or more. However the results proved otherwise. The YCP got 151 MLA, 22 MP seats and TDP got 23 MLA and 3 MP seats and JSP got only one and BJP and Congress lost the polls. (NSS)
