The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairperson Jessica Rosenworcel let Congress know that suppliers had applied to be repaid $5.6 billion for “tearing and supplanting” hardware considered uncertain by the US government. US President Joe Biden in November marked the law to ban Chinese tech organizations like Huawei and ZTE from getting endorsement for network hardware licenses in the country.
