The Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Uttar Pradesh Electricity division, says he will in any case hail slain worldwide terrorist Osama Bin Laden in spite of getting suspended.
SDO Ravindra Kumar Gautam, who had prior shown an outlined photo of Osama Bin Laden in his office at Nawabganj in Farrukhabad locale, and stated Revered Osama bin Laden — World’s best junior engineer” is facing suspension and disciplinary action.
He said, “I consider Osama Bin Laden to be my ‘Guru’. Assuming that the photograph is eliminated, I will orchestrate another and hang it in the future. Everybody is allowed to pick his ideal.” The SDO had set up Osama Bin Laden’s outlined picture in the sitting area of his development office.
He was suspended after the photo of the fear based oppressor became a web sensation via online entertainment.
Farrukhabad District Magistrate, Sanjay Kumar Singh had sent a report to the state government following which Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited’s Managing Director Amit Kishore suspended Gautam and suggested severe disciplinary activity against him, saying his demonstration has spoiled the appearance of the state Electricity division.
“Severe disciplinary activity has been advised against SDO Ravindra Kumar Gautam,” said Kishore.

During suspension period, the SDO will be moved to the Electricity Distribution Board, Kannauj. His demonstration is in opposition to the arrangements of Government Servants Conduct Rules, 1958, the Managing Director added.
Sources in the state Electricity division said the SDO had placed Osama’s photograph in office about seven days prior, and however representatives, administrators, two junior designers and twelve linemen visit it everyday, nobody brought up a criticism.
Chief Engineer Rakesh Verma said, “A board has been comprised to test the matter. A report has been looked for and move will be initiated against different representatives moreover.”
