UP: Priest Arrested For Giving Rape Threats In Sitapur

Sitapur Superintendent of Police RP Singh said that Mahant Bajrang Muni Das was arrested for his dubious comments on Muslim women. Das will be introduced in the court soon. As of late, a FIR has been documented against Das, and Prashant Kumar, ADG (Law and Order) Uttar Pradesh guaranteed severe activity against the charged.

The National Commission for Women on Friday kept in touch with the Director-General of Police of Uttar Pradesh about the supposed episode in the Sitapur area. NCW executive Rekha Sharma kept in touch with the UP DGP censuring the comments made by Bajrang Muni Das and looked for a FIR against him.

NCW said it sent a letter to the DGP subsequent to going over a Twitter post encasing a video of the minister who conveyed the intimidation while tending to a get-together at the Sitapur locale.
