Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader V. Hanumanth Rao here on Thursday came down heavily against the police for misbehaving with a medical student and beating her mercilessly at Charminar. He asked the police whether it was friendly police to pinch a female medical student besides misbehaving with her.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said the students were worried about the decision of the State government to shift the Ayurvedic hospital to Erragadda. He said the State government was not able to give proper reasons for the shifting of the hospital from Charminar. He demanded that Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi fight on the issue. (NSS)
