Hyderabad: Senior Congress Leader V. Hanumantha Rao on Monday congratulated West Bangal Chief Minister Mamata Benarjee and the state police for revolting against central government owned CBI and arresting its officials at Kolkata. He termed the decision of CBI officials to trespass into the house of Kolkata police commissioner without giving prior information to the chief secretary and the DGP of the state as ‘unfortunate’.
Addressing media persons here, VH alleged that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Chief Amit shah tried to attack Mamata Benarjee Government in an unconstitutional manner and added that Mamata Benarjee gave a befitting answer to the two BJP leaders. He also utilised the occasion to target chief minister KCR in the state. He alleged that the federal front mooted by the CM has now been proved to be a B-team of PM Modi. (NSS)
