Web Werks to establish a data centre in Hyderabad worth Rs 500 crore

Web Werks, a data centre and cloud service firm, has procured a standalone building in Hyderabad that will be turned into the company’s first data centre in the city’s commercial business district. As reported by  Telangana Today, the firm will invest more than Rs 500 crore in this data centre and employ approximately 100 workers by the end of 2022.

The new fully interconnected data centre will provide 1,20,000 square feet of colocation space, as well as a significant power capacity of up to 10 MVA of gross power and a projected IT load of up to 6 MW. The first phase of deliveries is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022.

The HITEC city attracts Hyperscalers and has a diverse range of industries, including IT, insurance, biotech, financial institutions, and the service industry.”
