With work from home ending, Hyderabad’s rental market is set to skyrocket

As companies in Hyderabad put an end to work from home, the rental market is once again set to skyrocket.

The majority of companies, especially those in the IT industry, have asked their employees to work from the office, so techies who worked remotely after the outbreak of COVID have had to return to Hyderabad.

As soon as they return to the city, the rental market is bound to boom. Hostels and PGs will also become lucrative businesses.

Most of the residential sales in Hyderabad are occurring in the west and north since techies prefer to live near the IT/ITES hubs of the Financial District.

Most of the areas in proximity to the IT corridor are experiencing growth in the rental market, including Gachibowli, Kondapur, Miyapur, LB Nagar, and Adibatla.

Cab drivers’ income to increase with end of work from home

Cab drivers’ income has been decreasing since the outbreak of the pandemic. Some of them even quit their jobs.

The end of work from home and the return of techies to the city is now good news for them because their earnings are expected to rise.

The end of work from home will benefit not only cab drivers, but also most public transport operators. The number of passengers on the Hyderabad Metro Rail will also increase.

It is also worth noting that the demand for phase 2 of the Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) has increased as many IT firms in Hyderabad have ended work from home policies.

The total route length in phase 2 is 84.05 kilometers. Six corridors will connect Secunderabad and Medchal.

The project will assist IT employees in traveling to Hitec City, as techies are exploring public transportation options, particularly in light of the recent increase in fuel prices.
