Hyderabad: A youth identified as Vijay, died this morning after a workout at the Nizam College gymnasium here. He was a former student of the college and was staying in a private hostel in Gunfoundry.
Police said Vijay, who was overweight, had started working out in the gym a couple of days ago. On Thursday morning too, he had a workout session, during which he felt uneasy. He returned to his room and fell unconscious. His friends shifted him to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police suspect the youth died of cardiac arrest or other health issues.
Mild tension prevailed at the college with after students and others staged a protest. (NSS)
