1.41 lakh cr acres in cultivation : Niranjan Reddy

Agriculture Minister S  Niranjan Reddy today informed to the Council that total crops being sown in 1.41 lakh crore acres in Telangana as planned.  During question hour in the upper house,  the minister has said that the state government kept the promise of giving financial support to farmers in Corona crisis.
The government has offered Rs 28,299 crore to pay rythu bandhu benefits to farmers since 2018.We are cultivating Telangana Sona in 10 lakh acres right now he said.  The government aims to help farmers  he said.
Including horticulture crops a total of 1.410 lakh crore acres to be under cultivation this season, the minister said.  The government has introduced regulatory crops first of its kind in the country.  For this 2604 AEO clusters are working to offer online advices to farmers to go in for regulatory farming.  Agriculture university has signed a deal with Indian School of Business to push farming a benefit giving activity the minister said.
1526 extension officers 2638 AEOs are working to strengthen activities of agriculture he informed. We are constructing 260 Rythu Vedikas to advice farmers on crops to be down and marketing to get benefits.   The minister said that each of being built  by spend Rs 20 lakh.  Our a is to help farmers get benefits,  he added.
