Forests and environment minister A Indrakaran Reddy today said that they set a record by planting one million saplings in one hour at Adilabad district in Telangana.
Reddy attended a program as part of the fourth phase of haritha haram program with MP Santhosh Kumar and officials. To mark MP’s birthday the program was conducted and planted 10 lakhs of a sapling at Durga Nagar area in Yadadri model of green expansion.

The minister said that it is a record to plant one million saplings taking cue from chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.Our program for green drive will continue by involving people he added.
He exhorted the people to maintain a clean and green environment for good health.
