Actor Aamir Khan’s staff test coronavirus positive, assures safety of self and family

Mumbai: Bollywood’s infamous actor, Aamir Khan, in a statement on Tuesday said that his staff members have been found to be Covid-19 positive. He assured his fans that he was fine.

Popularly known as Mr. Perfectionist, the 55- year old actor shared the news with the world mentioning the immediate quarantining of the staff that tested positive for the virus.

Moreover, he also said that the rest of the people at his home, including himself, tested to be negative yet have gone into isolation.

The last person left out to be tested still is his mother and he stated that he would be taking her for it soon as all the others have been found negative already.

Aamir in his statement said, “Hello everyone, this is to inform you that some of my staff have tested positive. They were immediately quarantined, and BMC officials were very prompt and efficient in taking them to a medical facility. I would like to thank the BMC for taking such good care of them, and for fumigating and sterilising the entire society.

The rest of us have all been tested and found negative. Right now I am taking my mother to get her tested. She is the last person in the loop. Please pray that she is negative.”

Furthermore, he thanked the BMC department for assisting him and his family during these times. He also thanked the medical staff of the hospital where he underwent testing.

“I would, once again, like to thank the BMC for the prompt, professional and caring manner in which they helped us.

“And a big thank you to Kokilaben Hospital, and the doctors, nurses and staff there. They were very caring and professional with the testing process. God bless and stay safe. Love. Aamir.”

Earlier, producer Boney Kapoor’s staff had also been found to be positive for the dreaded coronavirus. Fortuntely, his entire family was reported to be safe and tested negative for the infection.

The actor has been busy shooting his upcoming film “Laal Singh Chaddha”, a recreation of the Hollywood hit “Forrest Gump”, over the past few months with Kareena Kapoor. The film makers are planning to release it during Christmas.
