After derecognizing St.Adams School, MEO gave parents a wish list

As the Regional Joint Director has cancelled the registration of St.Adams School, a private institution based at Golden Heights Colony in Rajendranagar, the Mandal Education Officer assured the parents that their children will be accommodated in nearby schools they wish to enroll.

Recently, the Regional Joint Director has cancelled the registration of St.Adams School allegedly finding that the school management is running the institution straightly setting the rules at naught.

It is also learnt that repeated complaints from the parents that the management of the school is playing with the future of their children by giving no hoot to the norms, has led to the cancellation of recognition.

According to officials, around 1100 students are presently enrolled with the school whose future hangs in the balance after the Regional Joint Director cancelled the recognition of the school for violating the norms and ignoring the repeated instructions of the Director of School Education, Rangareddy district.

“It is only after repeated reminders and several notices have we been compelled to take the action against the school management. Considering that the parents may get worried with the action, the DEO has called a meeting of the parents today to assure them the safety of their children’s career,” the official informed.

It is said that the District Education Officer Rangareddy asked the MEOs of Rajedrenagar and Moinabad to convene a meeting of the parents and dispel their apprehensions.

It is against this background, the MEO Rajendranagar convened a meeting of the parents at MEO Office on Monday. While addressing the parents, the Mandal Education Officer Durgula Ramreddy said, “As we have cancelled the recognition of St.Adams School, the parents need not to worry for their children enrolled in the school. We are making all necessary arrangements to shift their children to nearby schools in the mandal. Parents can suggest the names of the schools they wish to admit their children. The officials will make arrangements accordingly and ensure that the parents would not face any inconvenience and hardship.”
