Ayodhya Mosque To Be Of the Same Size As Babri Masjid

The mosque that will come up in Ayodhya as per the Supreme Court decision in the Ram Janmabhoomi case will be of a similar size as Babri Masjid, said an office-bearer of the trust formed for its development.

The five-section of the land complex in Ayodhya’s Dhannipur town will likewise house a clinic, a library and an exhibition hall among others, the workplace carrier stated, including that resigned teacher and noted food pundit Pushpesh Pant will be the specialist guardian of the historical center.

“…the complex of the mosque, which will be constructed in Dhannipur, will moreover have different facilities like a clinic, a museum at the Indo-Islamic Research Center. The mosque will be on 15,000 square feet, while the rest of the land will have these offices,” Athar Hussain, the secretary and representative of Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF), told PTI on Saturday.

Mr Hussain said that “Yesterday, known food critic Pushpesh Pant gave his approval to curate the Museum,”

Mr Hussain said Professor S M Akhtar of Jamia Millia Islamia will be the expert modeller of the venture.

Mr Akhtar, the Head of the Department of Architecture at Jamia Millia Islamia, revealed to PTI prior that the whole mind-boggling will “unite the ethos of India and the soul of Islam”.

The Uttar Pradesh government allocated the five-section of the land plot in Ayodhya’s Dhannipur town for the development of the mosque on the order of the Supreme Court.

After an extended lawful tussle, the Supreme Court had on November 9 a year ago decided for the development of a Ram sanctuary at the contested site in Ayodhya and guided the Center to distribute an elective five-section of the land plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building another mosque at a “noticeable” place in the sacred town in Uttar Pradesh.

The mosque in Ayodhya was destroyed on December 6, 1992, by ”kar sevaks” who guaranteed that an antiquated Ram sanctuary remained at a similar site.

Leader Narendra Modi went to the ”bhoomi pujan” service to start the development of the Ram sanctuary on August 5.
