Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar has invoked Prevention Detention Act against K. Bala Krishna alias Balu of Chudi Bazaar under Shahinayathgunj Police Station.
In a press release here today, the Police Commissioner said K. Bala Krishna, 22, of Chudi Bazaar of Old city has been committing offences of murder attempt in public places under the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate limits. The accused committed six such offences and created fear psychosis among the general public and affected public order and disturbed peace and social harmony in the society, he claimed.
The Shahinayathgunj police arrested Balu on June 5 this year and remanded him to judicial custody. The Detention Order was executed on October 27 and sent to Chanchalguda Central Prison, the Police Commissioner said.
