Footfall is projected to climb further as many IT businesses in Hyderabad have instructed their staff to stop working from home and begin working from the office from April.

Footfall before the COVID outbreak

Before the start of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Hyderabad Metro Rail carried 2.80 lakh people per day.

For six months, the service was discontinued. It will be restarted in September 2020.

Because of the COVID concern, very few passengers used Metro Rail even after it was fixed.

As the number of COVID cases in the state has decreased and IT companies have decided to discontinue Work from Home, the use of Metro Rail has increased. It is projected to rise even more in the coming months.
