Bandi slams BRS over TSPSC paper leak; says BJP will fill 2L govt job vacancies

Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar has slammed the BRS government over the TSPSC paper leak issue, saying his party would fill two lakh job vacancies and release ‘job calendars’ annually if it came to power in the state.

On Thursday, he spoke at a BJP-organized ‘Nirudyoga March’ (March in support of the unemployed) in Sangareddy town near here, alleging that while several family members of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao got jobs during BRS rule, unemployed youth are in dire straits.

He demanded that the BRS government order an investigation by a sitting judge into the “leak” of a question paper from a Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) recruitment test.

He asked for ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh each to the aspirants who suffered loss due to the alleged paper leak. Sanjay Kumar, a Lok Sabha member from Karimnagar, has also demanded that IT Minister K T Rama Rao be removed from his post for his alleged failure in the paper leak.

He expressed confidence that the BJP would win the Legislative Assembly elections later this year, and stated that the process to fill the two lakh vacancies identified in the report of the Biswal Committee appointed by the state government earlier would begin soon after assuming office.

Every year, he said, a “job calendar” with vacancies would be released, and recruitment would begin. The BJP leader criticized the government for allegedly failing to pay employees on time, for failing to implement farm loan waivers, and for failing to provide relief to farmers affected by unseasonal rains.

Sanjay Kumar announced that similar ‘Nirudyoga March’ events would be held in Khammam, Adilabad, and Nizamabad, and finally in Hyderabad “with lakhs of people.”

Previously, the ‘Nirudyoga March’ was held in Warangal and Mahabubnagar.

Sanjay Kumar, known for his Hindutva views, also stated that a ‘Hindu Ekta Yatra’ would be held in Karimnagar on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on May 14.
