Banks to have holidays for 10 days in November; check complete list here

In comparison to October, when there were 21 bank holidays, banks across the country will be closed for 10 days in November. There will be some celebrations in November despite most of the festive days have passed, such as Kannada rajyotsava, Guru Nanak Jayanti/Kartika Purnima/Rahas Purnima.

While all lenders observe Republic Day and Gandhi Jayanti, some observe regional festivals and holidays as well. Regional bank holidays are determined by state governments. Due to these occasions, several commercial and public sector banks will remain closed in November. Across India, banks will be closed for up to 10 days in the month, including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays.

In addition to the second Saturday and Sunday, the RBI has declared holidays on November 1, 8, 11, and 23. As part of Kannada rajyotsava/Kut, Guru Nanak Jayanti/Kartika Purnima/Rahas Purnima, Kanakadasa Jayanthi/Wangala Festival and Seng Kutsnem, banks will be closed in different states/cities on these days.
