Hyderabad: Housing & Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy today said the State Government will conduct on a grand scale Bheema River Pushkaralu from October 11 to 23.
The minister conducted a review meeting with the officials in his Secretariat chamber here today. Indrakaran Reddy directed that the arrangements should be made perfectly to ensure all facilities to devotees. The Pushakaralu festivities will begin on October 11 at 7.20 pm and bathing ghats will be constructed at limited places as the river flows in Mahabubnagar district only.
He asked the officials to make arrangements for bathing ghats and rooms to change clothes in Shukra Lingampally, Kusumurty and Tangidigi areas. He also said steps should be taken to provide accommodation, better roads, parking places and drinking water to avoid inconvenience to the people. The officials said it was estimated to cost around Rs 12 crore by various departments for conducting the Bheema River Pushkaralu on a grand note. (NSS)
