All India Majlis E Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party gave Rs 1 lakh to the family of Mohd Azam and another Rs 25,000 to the family of Mohd Salman, who was injured in the attack. Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala met the parents of Mohd Azam and handed over the cheque.
MIM Supremo and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that the Chief Minister of Karnataka, H.D. Kumaraswamy, must pay compensation to the family of software professional Mohd Azam lynched by a mob in Bidar earlier this month.
