G Kishan Reddy Criticizes Telangana Government After Hyderabad Godown Fire Tragedy

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister and Telangana BJP President, slammed the Telangana administration, led by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, in the aftermath of a godown fire in Hyderabad that killed nine lives.

G Kishan Reddy noted that the state government is not taking appropriate action in such circumstances and demanded for warehouses to be relocated from the city. He promised to meet with the Prime Minister in order to get financial aid for the deceased’s relatives.

A big fire broke out at a chemical godown on the first floor of a four-story structure in Nampally, Hyderabad. The fire claimed the lives of nine people and injured three more. Firefighters were called to the location, and the incident was soon put out.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR conveyed his condolences over the event and directed officials to take immediate action to assist the injured. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor, expressed condolences and asked the Chief Secretary to provide prompt medical help to the injured. She also demanded a full investigation into the incident, as well as the filing of a comprehensive report on the events leading up to the fire, reaction mechanisms, and remedial measures within the following two days.
