Telangana Finance Minister, T Harish Rao today criticised that the BJP leaders were suspended from the house for storming the podium.
In a chit chat with Media persons at lobbies, the Finance Minister stated that the BJP wished to be out of the house and stormed the podium and the congress did not do so, he said. Earlier it was said by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that during Governor’s speech and Budget presentation there should not be any protests in the house. As the disruption is causing violations the speaker suspended the BJP members, he reasoned. Since there was no such protest by the congress its members were not suspended. During session in the house we will not suspend the opposition members for no violations, Harish Rao said.
He accused the BJP government at the centre of adopting double standards. In the recent parliament session the ruling BJP suspended 12 members for protests. In our state assembly we suspended the BJP leaders for storming podium.

The state government will fight for its rights and demands with the centre. Though it is not helping us our fight will continue, he said.
First time in independence history the Centre denied funds, he charged.
The Centre deliberately denying support and funds though 25th finance Commission recommended, he charged. Though our fight will not stop, he added.
