BJP sketching out strategies to establish presence in Telangana

As the BJP focuses on Telangana, the party is sketching out strategies in order to make sure it can establish its presence in the state. In the upcoming Assembly elections, the saffron party is planning its future course of action.

Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy recently resigned as Munugode MLA and from the party’s primary membership. He is all set to join the BJP, according to sources. Due to this, a byelection for the Munugode Assembly constituency is inevitable. In addition, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy shares similar views with his brother.

Several other leaders from other parties are eager to wear the saffron robes, according to BJP Telangana Unit President, Bandi Sanjay. There will also be byelections in a few other constituencies, he predicted.

According to reports, about 30 former MLAs, MPs, and Ministers from Congress and TRS have joined the BJP, along with around 70 other second-level leaders. TRS MP who was unhappy with recent political developments is rumored to be joining the BJP.

Bandi Sanjay claimed on Thursday that 12 Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs are ready to join the saffron party.

According to Bandi Sanjay, some TRS MLAs are preparing to resign from the ruling party because they believe they have no future in the TRS government.

The people have strong anti-incumbency sentiments, and some TRS MLAs are ready to leave the party, he said.

The state BJP chief claimed that TRS MLAs were joining the BJP because they recognized a groundswell of opposition to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his family.

Sanjay, who is also a Member of Parliament, also stated that the TRS MLAs will be forced to resign due to public pressure in their respective constituencies.

The BJP state president expressed confidence that the party would win elections in the state. He claimed that polls show the BJP will win the election.
