BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today paid tributes to the former Prime minister PV. Narshima Rao on his death anniversary.
In a statement, he said that P V. Narshima Rao was a symbol of modest living and statesmanship. He also said that PV was the only Telugu person who became the PM of the country while terming him as the son of the Telangana soil. He said that PV was responsible for the introduction of land reforms in the undivided AP state.

Stating that the career of PV began as a journalist of Kakatiya journal, he said that PV went on to become state Minister, Chief Minister, Union Minister, and Prime Minister of the country. He also said that PV had played an important role in the Telangana liberation movement. He said that there was a need to remember PV amid the ongoing celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrti Mahotsav.
