Vijayawada: BJP Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Rao today said the Chief Ministers of two Telugu-speaking States are panicked because of the BJP. Both the CMs are afraid of the BJP and soon this will be coming to a reality, Narasimha Rao said.
“Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao should go to each house and beg for pardon from people for not fulfilling promises made to them”, Narasimha Rao said. Referring to the Mahakootami of some Opposition parties in Telangana, Rao alleged that “it was not a Mahakootami of parties but a gang of Telangana betrayers (Telangana Drohulu)”. To bring down prices petrol and diesel, the States should slash cess on petroleum products.
Addressing the media at the State BJP office here , Narasimha Rao, who is also party’s national official spokesperson, alleged that Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers are vying for corruption. The people of Telangana have voted to the TRS because it had promised to make the State as a “ Bangaru Telangana” and believing KCR’s various promises like double bed room, three acre land for STs, job for youth, the TRS government utterly failed to fulfill its promises, the BJP MP alleged.
Before asking for votes from the public, Chief Minister KCR should read his party’s election manifesto so that he can realize how many promises he fulfilled, the BJP leader said. (NSS)
