Telangana State Planning Commission Deputy Chairman, Boinpally Vinod Kumar today offered rich tributes to engineers at Khairatabad here.
He offered garlands to statues of noted engineers Nawab Ali Nawab Bahadur, Mokshagundam Vishwesharaiah and R Vidyasagar Rao to mark Telangana engineers day. Soon after getting statehood, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao honoured by announcing Telangana Engineers Day after Nawab Bahadur. Engineers played a key role in statehood movement Vinod Kumar stated.
We need to bring in a book on the engineers who contributed to the state and the country’s development, he exhorted.

If we can bring their services in form of a book it will remain in history. We will support the engineers and employees in Telangana state Development, he said.
Those who present include engineers association president Venkatesh, water resources chairman V Prakash, CMO OSD, Sridhar Deshpande, engineers, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Damodhar Reddy, ENC Muralidhar, Janardhan, and others.
