By making Hyderabad a new base, BJP sets south Indian expansion policy into motion

As part of its south India expansion policy, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has planned to make Hyderabad as its new base to propagate its ideology and strengthen the party especially in Telangana region where the ruling BRS party is at loggerhead with PM Modi led BJP Government at Centre.

It is learnt that the party has revealed about the proposed training programmes it is planning to hold permanently for its cadres in Hyderabad before the party leaders mainly from South Indian states during a recently held two days party program in the city.

It is said that the BJP has planned to win atleast 60 seats in South Indian states and has begun weaving strategies from its newly formed base Hyderabad to achieve the set goals. The new expansion policy was planned following the elections in North Eastern states especially the UP and the Gujarat where the BJP has registered remarkable gains.

Though the saffron party faced setbacks in the state of Bihar as well as in Maharashtra – where a threat is looming large over 100 seats, it is for the first time the BJP is trying hands over the areas which were once considered as strongholds of the party before slipping back into the hands of opposition.

It is against this background, the BJP is trying to win over its former strongholds especially in Telangana and accordingly planning to achieve the goals keeping eye over the proposed general elections in the state presently ruled by BRS party led by K.Chandrashekher Rao.

It is said that the two days party meeting of leaders and cadres mainly from south Indian states at Hyderabad comes soon after the similar one held in Bihar.

During the meeting in Hyderabad it is said that the party is meticulously planning to retain the Parliamentary seats it won in south India besides chalking out strategies to make gain over other positions especially in Telangana.

The leaders are also discussing and identifying the parliamentary areas where there is a bright chance for BJPs win in the upcoming elections. The party will identify the parliamentary positions in South India taking into consideration the community wise development plans.
