A BMW car with the initials of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ‘KCR’ made many turn their heads in wonder on Thursday not long after the Audi car bearing the initials ‘KTR’ attracted attention during KTR’s arrival in London.
The image of the car bearing the initials ‘KCR’ was shared on Twitter by Deputy High Commissioner of AP and TS Andrew Fleming.
The tweet reads: For a sizeable group in UK number plates matter. This combination is popular among quite a few of the Telangana. I have been impressed by the strong and visible practical support the community has given to Industries Minister KT Rama Rao for throughout this visit.
The number plate of the BMW bore the initials ‘KCR’ of the Chief Minister. The plate said ‘V4 KCR’.

On Wednesday, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao travelled to London to promote Telangana as an investment destination. A surprise awaited him at the airport.
The attention was drawn to the Audi car of Ashok Goud Dusari, president of the NRI TRS cell in the UK, among the several NRIs and members of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party wing who arrived at the airport.
It carried the Minister’s initials, ‘KTR’, on the number plate. The plate read ‘TR5I KTR’.
Taking to Twitter later to express his gratitude to the Telangana diaspora in the UK, KTR wrote: Thank you to the affectionate NRIs of Telangana in UK for their overwhelming welcome. Special thanks to @Anil_trs Garu who has been spearheading NRI TRS in UK for over a decade & @ASHOKDUSARI Garu NRI TRS UK president who gave me a ride in his car with special number plate.
