Celebrations at Osmania University in response to CM KCR’s job announcement

Celebrations broke out at Osmania University as Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao announced a whopping 80,039 jobs that will be advertised immediately.

Students from the University College of Arts and Social Sciences did a milk abhishekam on an image of the CM and distributed sweets in addition to bursting crackers.

Celebrations erupted in response to CM KCR’s announcement of a government recruitment drive.

Within minutes of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao announced a massive recruitment drive to replace 80,039 vacant positions in government ministries, young people and TRS cadre began celebrating across the State, particularly in the State-run universities of Osmania, Kakatiya, and others. The unemployed youth, who have been waiting for government jobs for a long time, distributed sweets and danced to drum beats.

Since 10 a.m., the majority of them had been glued to their televisions. They came out in a joyful mood soon after Chandrashekhar Rao made the announcement in the Assembly. Many young people were spotted dancing to the rhythms of the ‘Teen Maar’ drums. Soon after the Chief Minister made the news, social media was buzzing with excitement over the enormous recruiting.

On numerous university campuses, unemployed youth were observed congratulating one another on the occasion. They applauded the Chief Minister for not only guaranteeing that the bulk of jobs go to locals but also for raising the upper age limit by ten years for all positions except uniformed services such as police, which had previously been unheard of. They applauded the government’s decision to discontinue contract recruitments entirely and to regularise existing contract workers.

TRS leaders let off fireworks and distributed sweets while dancing to drum beats at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad and other locations around the state. They performed ‘Abhishekam’ by pouring milk on the Chief Minister’s flex boards and praised him for ensuring 95 per cent reservation in all ranks for locals.

TRS legislators also made a beeline for the Chief Minister’s chambers in the Assembly, thanking him for enacting a concrete policy to ensure that all vacancies were filled on an annual basis. They praised his efforts in providing 95% of the jobs to locals.
