Chada’s Posers to KCR on Failure to Fulfill Promises

Hyderabad: CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy on Monday said that there was nothing new in the four and half year long rule of rival TRS party in the state. He alleged that the state witnessed a unilateral, feudal and centralized form of government under the leadership of caretaker CM KCR. He said that there was no relation between the promises made by  KCR and the promises implemented in the state. He also said that there was no scope for different civil society organizations including political parties to hold dharnas in the state under the current government. He made these remarks at  a ‘meet the press’ program at Basheer Bagh Press club in the city.

Reddy asked  KCR as to  why he did not fill up all government vacancies during the last four and half year. He also said that the irrigation projects located in Nalgonda, Dindi, Nakkalagandi and projects located in Mahbubnagar district were not completed so far by the state government. Noting that Chief Minister  said that he would go to  Delhi and sit on  dharna in national capital new Delhi to achieve 69 percent reservations to different sections of society, Reddy reminded that KCR failed to give 12 percent reservation to Muslims of the state.

He also alleged that several farmers from the state suffered a lot due to delay in the implementation of farmers’ loan waiver scheme. He termed the Rythu Bandhu scheme of the state government as a scheme meant for vultures and looters of public money. He wondered as to how the Rythu bandhu was also extended to those living in foreign countries. He asked KCR as to  why  he failed in the implementation of KG to PG free education scheme in the state.

Commenting on the issue of parting ways with another left party, CPM,  Chada said that they did not join hands with them as it was opposed to the idea of formation of a Left Front instead of the proposed Bahujan Left front “ They asked us to join the BLF a year ago. But, we told them it was not going to work in the state. Instead, we proposed them to form a left front. But they did not agree to it,” he said.(NSS)
