Chandrababu Naidu decided not to appear before Maharashtra Court

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has decided not to appear personally in Dharmabad court in Maharashtra in connection with Babli projects case.

After a meeting with his ministers, Chandrababu Naidu decided to file a recall petition, sources said. A local court in Dharmabad in Maharashtra issued an arrest warrant against Chandrababu Naidu and 15 others in a 2010 case related to agitation over the Babli project across the river Godavari and directed the police to produce them before the Court.

However, a senior counsel, on behalf of A P Chief Minister appeared in Dharmabad Court. But the court adjourned the case to October 15 directing the accused to appear personally before it on that day. (NSS)
