Hyderabad: Chevella MP and Congress leader Konda Visweswar Reddy has come to the rescue of the disabled of undivided Ranga Reddy district. He distributed 164 wheel-chairs to the disabled of the district at Agriculture University in the State. He spent Rs 1.50 crore from his MP funds, which were sanctioned Under ADIP.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy urged the disabled not to worry about their lives and assured them that he would stand by them. He said the county did not have enough infrastructure like they have in foreign countries. He also alleged that rulers of the State were neglecting welfare of the disabled. He urged the State and the Union governments to help the disabled and provide them with jobs. He said the onus of extending all kinds of help to the disabled lies on the shoulders of the governments.
