Chief Secretary Inspects Vaccination Special Drive in Shamshabad

Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, today visited the ZP High School in Shamshabad and inspected the vaccination special drive for high exposure groups.

Speaking on the occasion, he said twelve categories of persons were identified for taking up vaccination under the special drive as per the directions of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

The special drive for high exposure categories such as Kirana shop workers, street vendors, saloon workers is being taken up from today across all the municipalities in the state.

An app has been developed by the municipal department for registering these workers. Those who receive a message on the mobile are only allowed to be vaccinated and no walk-ins are allowed.

Chief Secretary congratulated the municipal officials for making elaborate arrangements for conducting the special vaccination drive.
