Hyderabad: State BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that Chief Minister KCR doesn’t have humanity. He also alleged that the coronavirus had spread Districts of the state. He said that the people the state were facing a lot of problems due to the virus.
Referring to Gandhi Hospital he said that the hospital had the very bad conditions.
Addressing a virtual press conference on Wednesday, BJP leader Bandi Sanjay demanded that CM KCR must come out from the farmhouse and take care of people who were facing a dreaded situation in the devastation by Coronavirus.
The government-run hospitals were deprived of doctors, paramedical staff and class IV employees and hundreds of posts in the Medical and Health Department were lying vacant. Some retired doctors belonged to their groups have been appointed in the hospitals.
The State ministers were touring the districts in the name of welfare programmes to divert the attention of people from Corona. It was causing spreading of Coronavirus as they were not maintaining even social distance, he said.
The BJP State president alleged that distribution of Corona Kits was a huge scam and the TRS government was distributing poor quality N95 masks which were below the safety standards. The health agencies have advised the people not to use these under quality masks.
The contract was given to close associates of the TRS leaders though they offered tenders for a namesake. Poor quality PPE kits and masks were distributed as the KCR government has no accountability towards the people, Bandi Sanjay said and added that a dreaded situation prevailed in Telangana as the government lost control over the situation and people lost faith in the government.
Bandi Sanjay said the government hospitals were facing a shortage of doctors, paramedical staff and class IV employees. It had delayed the appointments by issuing a number of notifications with unreasonable clauses.
Taking advantage of the situation, the corporate hospitals were squeezing patients by charging huge bills. With the exploitation of corporate hospitals, people were facing it difficult to pay the bills.
No government mechanism was working to control the exploitation of corporate hospitals and the people were left in the lurch, he added.
He said that the central government had given 800 to 1000 ventilators to the state. He alleged that the oxygen plant was not working at the Gandhi Hospital.
