CM KCR introduced several revolutionary schemes that benefited many people: KTR

Industries Minister KT Rama Rao stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao introduced several revolutionary schemes and people benefited greatly, in addition to Telangana winning laurels due to the effective implementation of such schemes, and the entire credit for this success goes to government employees.

He stated that Telangana had won the most awards in the union government’s Swachh Survekshan and Grameen rankings, regardless of urban or rural bodies.

Mumbai was India’s economic capital, but only 9% of the city’s sewerage was treated. Hyderabad would be the first city in the country to ensure 100 percent sewerage treatment by September, he said on Friday at the Pattana Pragathi Dinotsavam here.

Telangana’s government launched the remarkable TS-BPASS system, which allows for online building plan approval system. There was not a single complaint or occasion in the last nine years when a builder or construction company lodged a grievance regarding delay or other irregularities. On the contrary, the builders informed him that in other states, one would have to pay per square feet to have the building plan approved.

“If Telangana is delivering a transparent, disciplined, and self-certification building plan approval system effectively, the credit goes to the employees,” Rama Rao said, adding that During the lockdown, when the entire country was indoors, GHMC staff completed link road, flyover, and other civic works. Recalling a previous meeting about the Kanti Velugu program, the Minister stated that the Chief Minister inquired about plans for employee accommodation while visiting rural areas.

He stated that the Chief Minister considers every minor issue, which no other CM does.

The Minister appreciated the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation staff for launching 150 ward offices in the city today, saying the proposal for the ward offices was mooted last month and the GHMC team delivered without any hassle. “I am confident that Municipal Administration staff from other states will visit Hyderabad to learn about this ward offices concept,” Rama Rao stated.

Revolutionary ideas come to visionary leaders such as Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao because he always emphasizes people-centered policies and governance. Regular leaders cannot compete with his caliber, the Minister said. People used to believe that what Bengal does today, India does tomorrow. Now, it has changed to what Telangana does today, India emulates tomorrow, he said.
