During a review meeting at the Telangana Secretariat focused on the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy proposed converting the Musi catchment area into a self-financing zone to attract tourists.

To achieve this vision, authorities have received instructions to formulate comprehensive plans for constructing bridges, commercial shopping complexes, amusement parks, hawker zones, and pathways along the Musi River through a public-private partnership model.

Emphasizing environmental sustainability, the Chief Minister emphasized the installation of sewage treatment plants in strategic locations to mitigate Musi River pollution and prevent sewage discharge.
