CM to chair Dalit Bandhu meeting on Sept. 13

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is to conduct a meeting regarding the implementation of Dalit Bandhu in five Mandals.

The CM will chair the meeting at his Pragati Bhavan on Monday at 2.30 pm. An action plan is to be made by the Chief Minister in the meeting.

According to information, he will take a call to extend the scheme for Dalits empowerment to four other Mandals in the State.

The Chief Minister will hold a discussion at Pragati Bhavan on September 13 at noon hours. He asked  Ministers, MLAs, MPs, and Zilla Parishad chairmen, and others to attend the meeting. The Chief Minister has decided to conduct a preparatory meeting for the implementation of the Telangana Dalit Bandhu Scheme in four Mandals on a pilot basis.

A release from the CMO stated that the chief minister will be conducting the preparatory meeting will be held here at Pragathi Bhavan on Monday at 2.30 PM.

The CM has recently announced to extend the Dalit Bandhu to four other mandals in addition to the Huzurabad segment. The four Mandals are –Chintakani in Madhira Constituency,  Tirmalgiri in Tungaturthy, Charakonda Mandal in Achampet &  Kalwakurty constituencies, Nizam Sagar in Jukkal Constituency. These four mandalas were added to the Dalit Bandhu pilot project scheme.

KCR will share his ideas with the ministers and others on Dalit Bandhi Scheme to be implemented on a pilot basis along with the Huzurabad Constituency. Against this backdrop, the CM said to take up an action plan to implement Dalit Bandhu in these four Mandals, Dalit Bandhu  Scheme preparatory meeting is being held.

He said that in the Monday preparatory meeting, Ministers, ZP  Chairpersons, Collectors from the four districts of Khammam,  Nalgonda, Mahboob Nagar, Nizamabad, Legislators from  Madhira, Tungaturthy, Achampet, Kalwakurty, Jukkal  Constituencies, SC Welfare Minister  Koppula Eswar, Chief  Secretary  Somesh Kumar, SC Development Secretary, CM  Secretary  Rahul Bojja, Finance Secretary will participate the same.

The CM said Karimnagar district Collector would attend the meeting as a special invitee and share his experiences at the ground level while implementing the scheme in Huzurabad.

The KCR government has announced Rs 10 lakh to each of the Dalit families in the state.

The Government recently released the Rs 2000 Cr to the Huzurabad segment as announced by the Chief Minister. KCR will draw an action plan in the key meeting for Dalit empowerment.
