Hyderabad: Finance Minister T Harish Rao today instructed railway, land revenue, and other officials to speed up the new railway line works in Siddipet district. Complete railway line works and provides train journey facility to district people, he said.
He held a high-level review in Sidhipet on the new railway line, land acquisition, station construction design, works, and coordination.
The minister directed that all pending issues, land acquisition, and others have to be addressed speedily. The government has offered lands and funds for the purpose the finance minister said. Avoid delay in completing the works and ensure speedy completion of rail tracks, lining, related works on a war footing.
The minister took stock of the railway line, station, and other works. Coordination is key among other departments and local to district officials have to focus on this, Harish Rao said.
The district is deprived of this facility and people are awaiting Harish Rao said.
The new line passes through Gajwel, Siddipet segments as land acquisition are complete he said.
There is no dearth of the funds and the minister spoke on reach 1,2 & 3 as part of the rail line. He asked to take up a new rail alignment to protect railway and people interests.
