Congress furious over criticism by Rajgopal & VH

Hyderabad: The Congress high command took serious exception over party MLC Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy and senior leader V Hanumatha Rao criticizing the PCC new election committees openly. The PCC Disciplinary Committee issued show cause notice to Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy today seeking an explanation on his outburst within a week. However, the party high command didn’t issue any notice to VH yet.

It may be mentioned here that Rajagopal Reddy on September 20 launched a scathing attack on Telangana Congress party affairs in-charge RC Kuntia alleging that the latter became a ‘Shani’ (Saturn) to the party here at a meeting of his followers held at Pedda Amberpet. He had also alleged that “brokers” have got positions in the newly appointed committees. He also declared that he was not afraid of even 100 Kuntias.

“The Congress lost power in the last elections due to bad decisions. The party gave positions to the leaders who joined party a few days ago and to those who went to jail”, he fumed.

It may also be mentioned here that Rajagopal Reddy didn’t get any position. On the other hand, his brother Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has got Manifesto Committee co-chairperson post. (NSS)
