Congress Leader Kaushik Reddy Resigns from Party ; Levels Allegarions Against Revanth

Congress party leader and Huzurabad constituency of the party Padi Kaushik Reddy resigned from the party today. He also tendered his resignation from the primary membership of the party.

Reddy took the decision after the party high command issued a show-cause notice to him following the leakage of his alleged phone call with a TRS party activist. The phone call has created a sensation in the party and forced the chairman of the disciplinary committee of the party M. Kodanda Reddy to issue the show-cause notice him.

Speaking to media persons after his resignation, he claimed that he was resigning from the Party with heavy pain. Claiming that he was one of the first leaders, who wanted to see the party MP A. Revanth Reddy as the TPCC Chief, he alleged that Revanth became the TPCC chief by paying Rs. 50 crore to the party high command. Referring to the statement of Revanth that the congress party would not win in the upcoming by-elections in Huzurabad, he termed them as unfortunate while noting that Revanth is in a state of imagination.

He alleged that revanth sold himself to the rival BJP candidate Etela Rajender. Kaushik did not stop here. He dared Revanth to achieve election deposit for the congress party in the upcoming by-elections. He predicted that the party would be deserted by all leaders in the next months. He thanked the party leaders Rahul Gandhi and N. Uttam Kumar Reddy for giving him the opportunity to serve the party.

Revanth terms Kaushik as a covert of TRS

On the other hand, TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy has termed Kaushik Reddy as the covert of the ruling TRS party. He also warned that he would not leave any covert of the TRS in the party and added that he was setting up a deadline of the end of this month to all the coverts of the TRS in the party.

Speaking to media persons at Nirmal after taking part in a protest cycle and bullock cart rally, Revanth said that they would not leave the congress leaders and workers, who had worked hard for the development of the party. Stating that the lucky number of CM KCR is 6 and he is 9, he said that the number 6 would become number 9 if it was turned upside down.

He urged the party workers to ensure the victory of former MLA Maheswar Reddy from the Nirmal assembly constituency in the next assembly elections. He called upon the party cadres to put an end to the rule of CM KCR by holding public agitations.

We have expelled Kaushik from the party TPCC disciplinary committee Meanwhile, the TPCC disciplinary committee has announced the expulsion of Kaushik from the Party even before his resignation. The chairman of the committee M. Kodanda Reddy said that they were expelling Reddy for resorting to anti-party activities by conniving with rival TRS party leaders.
