Congress Party Demands Minority Bandhu for Minorities

Congress party today demanded the Telangana government to implement the Minority Bandhu scheme on the lines for all Muslims and other Minority Communities of the State on the lines of the Dalit Bandhu scheme.

It also demanded the state government to implement 12 percent reservations to all minorities of the state.

The minority cell of the party has organized a protest demanding the state government to fulfill its demands at Indra park in the city. TPCC Chief A. Revanth Reddy, former TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC publicity Committee Chairman Madhu Yaski, TPCC working president M. Anjan Kumar Yadav, MLA T. Jayaprakash reddy, former Ministers J. Geeta Reddy G. Chinna Reddy and Mohammad Ali Shabbir and other party leaders took part in the protest program.

Speaking on the occasion, former TPCC president and MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that the minorities of the state were cheated by CM KCR. He said that the promise of the CM to provide 12 percent reservations was not implemented in the state even after making the statement on the floor of the house that he had spoken to the Prime Minister of the Country Narendra Modi on the issue and secured a promise for its implementation.

He urged the Muslims of the state to not believe CM KCR and alleged that the ruling TRS party and BJP had a secret pact between them. He made it clear that the Congress party was committed to the development of the minorities of the state. He said that the minorities of the country were reeling Under fear under the rule of PM Modi.

He   Alleged that the BJP was trying to benefit by doing communal politics in the country. He said that the TRS part should be defeated in the state in order to teach a lesson to the BJP. He alleged that CM KCR was extending support to Modi in all important issues. He said that the Congress party would stand by the minorities of the state all the time.

TPCC publicity committee chairman Madhu Yaski alleged that PM Modi was trying to benefit in elections in the name of religion. He made it clear that the country belonged to people from all religions. He said that the SCs, STs, BCs, and minorities were cheated in CM KCR’s rule. Goud alleged that CM KCR had become a servant of PM Narendra Modi. He said that the Congress party would fight for the rights of the minorities of the state. He demanded the state government implement 12 percent reservations to all the minorities of the state.

Former minister G. Chinna Reddy said that several people of the minority communities were languishing in poverty. He demanded CM KCR to implement a Muslim Bandhu scheme like the Dalit Bandhu scheme in the state besides providing 12 percent reservations to them. He warned that the Congress party would fight on the issue if their demands for the development of the minorities were not fulfilled.

He said that the Muslims had deserted the Congress party after the demolition of Babri mosque and added that plans should he made to bring back the Muslims to the fold of the congress party.

MLA Jagga Reddy said that the Congress party was ready to fight on behalf of the minorities of the state. He said that the fight the congress against CM KCR would not stop until he was unseated from his post.
