TPCC chief A. Revanth reddy today said that the Congress party belongs to the Dalits of the country and the state.
He said that the credit behind making a Dalit the President of India goes to their party. He said that the party had made Dalit leaders of the party like Mallikarjuna Kharge as the leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka as CLP leader in Telangana.
He also said that the party had appointed a Dalit Leader like former state minister Dr. Sailajanath as the APCC President. Revanth made it clear that the party had never neglected the Dalit, tribal and weaker sections of the country. He made these remarks while addressing a gathering of the party workers and leaders at the party’s State SC morcha meeting held at Indira Bhavan in the city.

Speaking on the occasion revanth alleged that PM Narendra Modi was selling away several public sector undertakings including the historic Vizag steep plant which was formed by the Congress party. Targeting CM KCR he alleged that the CM had diluted universities like Osmania University and Kakatiya University.
He also alleged that the CM took away the social reservations by sanctioning private universities to his party leaders like state Minister ch Malla reddy and MLC palla Rajeshwar Reddy. He said that the poor students of the state had been deprived of higher education in CM KCR’s rule.
