Congress plaint against TRS, meets CEO for hoardings

Hyderabad: Congress leaders today complained to the EC that the TRS was not giving them a chance to use hoardings to campaign for Lok Sabha elections.

A delegation of Congress leaders met CEO Rajat Kumar and sought his help to campaign by taking steps to use hoardings for poll campaign. They complained that the ruling party has taken over all the hoardings in the city. TPCC election coordination committee convenor G Niranjan and Treasurer Gudur Narayan Reddy alleged that the operators of hoardings are denying them saying that the government booked all.

“Rajat Kumar assured us of directing the operators to allot hoardings to the Congress and other political parties. They also accused KCR of violating poll code by holding political meetings at his official residence Pragathi Bhavan. The EC has to issue a notice directly to the Chief Minister, the Congress leaders said. (NSS)
