Hyderabad: Former Congress MLC Ranga Reddy on Wednesday came down heavily on TRS working president K Tarakarama Rao for his comments against the grand old party.
Referring to KTR’s statement that their votes have increased but seats were reduced, he said KTR was trying to put up a brave face to hide his failure. He also faulted the statement of KTR to dwarf the victories of the Congress and the BJP in the State. He said the victories of the two parties mattered a lot than the majority they got in the elections. Reddy also said it was not proper for KTR to state that born enemies the Congress and the BJP have joined hands to defeat the TRS candidate in Nizamabad.
Ranga Reddy alleged that KTR was trying to mislead the people by claiming that they didn’t ignore the party leader and his cousin Harish Rao. Commenting on the issue of resignation of the party president Rahul Gandhi, he said the decision of Rahul Gandhi to quit was not right. (NSS)
