Hyderabad: The deadly Coronavirus has claimed a doctor’s life for the first time in the State. The 70-year-old doctor Gyanenswar died of the virus while undergoing treatment at KIMS hospital in the city on Sunday night. The doctor who has been suffering from fever was admitted to the KIMS hospital a week ago. The doctors at the hospital conducted coronavirus tests on the victim and found that he was suffering from the virus.
The doctors of the hospital have said that the victim died as he also had a hypertension problem besides the virus. Dr. Gyanenswar did his medical degree from Kakatiya medical college. What is more interesting is the fact that he contracted the virus without giving treatment to the corona virus-infected patients. His clinic was also shut down ever since the lockdown was imposed in the state
