Cyberabad CP VC Sajjanar today felicitated A youngster by the name of B. Ganesh Yadav whose heroic act helped in arresting a criminal.
25-year-old Ganesh Yadav, who is a private employee and resident of RC Puram was going around the Sunday market of his area on April 4,2021 when he saw an auto rikshaw stopping near a lady and then making away into the busy market. After few seconds, the old lady realized that her gold chain was missing and almost fainted. Ganesh immediately rushed to the lady who told him that her gold chain was missing. Suspecting it must be the work of the suspected auto driver, he immediately took his bike and followed the auto, and intercepted him near the ICRISAT junction.

After stopping him he asked the driver to come out of the auto rickshaw and found that he was hiding the chain under his seat. Yadav recovered the chain from him and took him to the police.
In the meantime, the husband and daughter of the old lady dialed police helpline number 100 to seek the intervention of the police. The police immediately rushed to the spot and took the accused person into custody and arrested him.

Felicitating young Ganesh Yadav, Sajjanar urged the youth to observe all criminal and illegal activities around them and inform the Police. He also appealed to youth to be vigilant and help police in curbing crimes in the city. Such commendable works reinforce the bonding between police and youth and improve peace and public order, he said.
