Hyderabad: CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has informed that their party will lay siege to Pragathi Bhavan on August 10 demanding the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to fulfill the assurances given during 2014 elections.
He demanded the state government to fulfill the assurances of construction of double bed room houses to the poor immediately. He said that CPI will storm the Collectorate offices on August 8 and 9. He also alleged that the state government was introducing several new schemes like distribution of sheep, buffalos, Kanti Velugu schemes keeping 2019 elections in view. He said that CPI will intensify the movements against the State government in case it failed to implement the assurances given by KCR. (NSS)
