CPM former legislator dies with Corona

Hyderabad: A former legislator who was contracted with the Corona today dies while rushing to the Hospital. The senior leader of CPM S. Rajiah(59) who had represented Bhadrachalam segment in Assembly three times in 1999,2004,2014 was indisposed few days back, taking no risk his family members underwent his covid19 test yesterday, however, his report was positive, accordingly, they have rushed to him to Vijayawada Hospital from Bhadrachalam of Bhadradri Kotagudam Dist for treatment, however, he dies on the way.

He was residing in the Vararamachandrapuram Mandal of East Godawari of Andhra Pradesh from few days and his two sons, son in law have also tested positive for Corona. They are being treated at Bommuru near Rajahmundry.

CPM leaders have expressed their grief on the death of Rajiah and remembered his services to the party and the people as well. The party leaders expressed their condolence to the bread family members. It may be recalled that recently Mayor GHMC Bonthu Rammohan tested positive for COVID-19. Several people’s representatives in state have already been affected by the dreaded virus.

Ruling party legislator Jeevan Reddy also tested positive with COVID 19 in Nizamabad Dist of Telangana in the recent times. With the Reddy get affected with corona, the total number of the public representatives of the Nizamabad Dist who have contracted with the COVID 19 increased as earlier Nizamabad Rural MLA Baji Reddy Govardhan, Urban MLA Ganesh Gupta also affected with the corona. He was in quarantine in his home in Hyderabad after undergoing treatment for one day in the hospital. Reddy had recently visited Hyderabad and it is learned that he was contracted the deadly virus here.

Former deputy chief minister Kadiam Srihari, Quthbullapur MLA Vivekananda Goud along with his wife Sowjanya and son Vidhat were diagnosed with the infection. Earlier, Home Minister Mahmood Ali and deputy speaker Padma Rao were also infected with COVID-19.
