Cyberabad Commissioner VC Sajjanar has been transferred by the state government today after serving three years.
He was appointed as the Managing Director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC). The Chief Secretary of the State Somesh Kumar has issued orders to this effect. He also appointed 1999 batch West Zone Inspector General Mutyala Stephen Ravindra as the next Cyberabad Police Commissioner.

Sajjanar has been shot to fame after the sensational encounter of the accused of the Disha rape case. He also took up several social service programs after the imposition of Covid lockdown in the state. Sajjanar was also responsible for another encounter of the accused of acid attack on a girl in Warangal.
Also, the government has appointed the senior IPS official Dr. Anil Kumar as the state Intelligence Chief.
Anil Kumar has called on the chief minister at Pragathi Bhavan and extended thanks for the new assignment. The chief minister has greeted Anil Kumar for the top post.
