Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Election Campaign Committee Convenor and Khairtabad People’s Front contestant Dr. Sravan Dasoju and Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee (GHCC) President and Former Parliamentarian M Anjan Kumar Yadav started the campaign by offering special prayers at Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanam (TTD) and held a huge bike rally in the Himayath nagar division.
Dr Sravan noticed several issues pertaining to double-bed room houses. He reminded that the government has affirmed to construct two lakh houses in the span of 5-years, but they have confined only to 12,000 houses which are still under construction in the entire state.
Dr. Sravan slammed KTR for his failure in administration in the City and questioned what has happened to his 100 day strategic road development plan. He also asked how KTR would campaign for a person who never participated in the Telangana statehood movement, and instead he worked against the formation of Telangana. Morally and ethically Danam has no right to use the name ‘Telangana’. He is an Udyama Drohi. KTR campaigning for such a person reflects his cheap politics towards power.
Dr. Sravan, as part of his door-to-door campaign visited Meer Osman Ali Khan Tomb at King Koti and offered special prayers. Speaking to media, he said that with the inspiration of Osman Ali Khan, he will continue to fight for the uplift of poor and downtrodden. He urged the people to give him a chance to work for the development of Khairatabad by carrying the vision and legacy of former legislator and people’s leader PJR.
Speaking to the media persons, Former Parliamentarian and City Congress President M Anjan Kumar Yadav claimed that all the development done so far is in the regime of erstwhile congress government. The prestigious project Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMRL) was almost completed by Congress government. He also mentioned that not even a single promise is fulfilled by TRS government. He appealed the people to be aware of TRS and BJP’s mind game and support Sravan’s candidature.
